COURSE WITH REFUGEES
With an ethical and enlightened business model, Bottega Intreccio finds its raison d'être in the Cartaca school, created to promote the ancient craft of wicker weaving and to guarantee a future to this knowledge.
With a virtuous and sustainable approach, the school is at the side of organizations aiming to help refugees and asylum seekers, offering paths of social and work integration.
With this in mind, Bottega Intreccio opened the doors of the workshops to ten young people, between 18 and 22 years old, from Ethiopia, Somalia and Pakistan, to show them the work environments and share the experiences of Carteca's master craftsmen.
From this experience, relationships, connections and an interweaving of cultures were born: four of them chose to continue the learning path with the objective to become artisans and entering Mogliano’s workshops.
